Essential Household Items

For Care Leavers to receive essential household items we must know what item they need. For example these items can be a Toaster, Cutlery, Dinner Sets, Cups, Drinking Glasses, Pots and Pans, Duvet and Duvet Covers, Pillows and Pillow Cases, Bath Towels, Kitchen Towels, a Kettle.

How can a Care Leaver access Our Pantry?

  • A Care Leaver aged 18 - 25 must be referred to The Transformed You Pantry by their Local Authority Children’s Services Department or their Local Authority Virtual School, from the following London Boroughs: Barking & Dagenham, Tower Hamlets, Havering, Newham, Redbridge, Hackney and Waltham Forest.

  • The Referrer must make initial contact with The Transformed You via our website Contact Form

  • The Referrer will be sent a Referral Form to complete, providing information about the Care Leaver

  • Once received The Transformed You will contact the Care Leaver and send them our Shopping List to complete and return

  • Once received we will arrange for them to collect their essential food items and/or their essential household items from The Transformed You Hub, on the designated day and time.

Please Note: We are unable to deliver the Items to the Care Leaver.

How can I Donate to the Pantry?

  • Donations to Our Pantry are welcome 

  • A Donor must make initial contact with The Transformed You via our website Contact Form

  • The Donor will be sent our updated Shopping List of Essential Food Items, along with the designated day and time for the items to be delivered to The Transformed You Hub

  • The Donor can also purchase Essential Household Items from our Amazon Wish List. The item will be delivered to The Transformed You Hub and gifted to the Care Leaver in need of the item. Items will be listed when a Care Leaver lets us know they are in need

  • If you prefer, you can make a financial donation via our Donate page
